Veronica Adamson

Expert-in-Residence

Veronica is a visionary leader committed to empowering women's health investors to maximize their impact, ensuring that digital health innovations are both pioneering and capable of improving millions of lives at scale without redundancy. As one of the few women to have led two large global women's health enterprises impacting millions, and with a specialization in system-level health equity change at Harvard University, Veronica has crafted a unique approach to catalyzing innovation that emphasizes sustainability, equity, and scalability from the outset.  Her mission is to create a brighter future for maternal and broader women's health by the time her children need it.

Leveraging her extensive firsthand experience with the challenges and drivers of scaling digital health innovations commercially at Philips, Gainwell Technologies, Monitor Deloitte, and Rothschild, Veronica provides invaluable guidance to investors and innovators, helping them navigate unmet needs, market dynamics, global best practices, regulatory frameworks, manufacturing, distribution, care pathways, and reimbursement. Veronica believes in adopting best practices across international borders and uses her experience living in six different countries to ensure their bi-directional flow of ideas from the U.S. abroad and from abroad to the U.S.

Veronica's strategic leadership has given rise to transformative advancements for millions of women, especially in the area closest to her heart, maternal health: the first remote fetal and maternal monitoring system in the U.S., a pioneering Medicaid-supported pregnancy app for rural mothers, a sophisticated data analytics platform for a major state Medicaid program, among others.
