Tracy is a seasoned entrepreneur with a keen interest in healthcare technology and life sciences. She has been actively involved in the investment landscape since 2000, serving as a partner at Battelle Ventures and later co-founding Astarte Ventures, a pioneering investment firm focusing on women’s and children’s health.

Her dedication to improving pediatric care led her to establish Astarte Medical in 2016, a precision nutrition company committed to enhancing outcomes in the critical first 1000 days of life. Despite lacking a technical or scientific background, Tracy has excelled at bridging the gap between innovation, invention, and commercialization throughout her career.

Tracy's expertise lies in identifying talented researchers and clinicians, assessing market feasibility, and devising strategic plans to translate cutting-edge technologies into tangible milestones. She has successfully brought forth healthcare innovations from esteemed institutions such as Harvard/Brigham & Women’s Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Apart from her investment and entrepreneurial endeavors, Tracy has contributed her leadership to various research institutions, including the Children’s Research Institute at Children’s National Medical Center and Clemson Research Institute. Tracy holds a BS in Accounting and International Business from New York University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
