Delphine O’Rourke, JD is a globally recognized expert in women’s health, helping innovative teams excel in complex and rapidly changing legal environments so they can bring high impact solutions to patients, at scale. She is a trusted legal advisor to a broad range of healthcare clients—Fortune 500 companies, institutional investors, employers, health systems, providers, entrepreneurs—that need real-world advice at the intersection of law, fast moving policy, and healthcare operations.

Delphine is always advocating for ways to advance the healthcare industry and, to that end, built and led the first global legal practice dedicated to the women's health industry when she was a partner with Goodwin, for which she was nominated by The Financial Times for its 2023 award for the most innovative lawyer and most innovative legal practice.

Prior to Goodwin, Delphine was Associate General Counsel of Ascension and was also involved with advocacy and mission. She has consistently been named Best Lawyers in America for Health Law, is one of the most influential leaders in women’s health by Women of Wearables, as well as a sought-after keynote speaker.

In addition to her legal practice, Delphine is the CEO of 8Fold Inc., which provides strategy advice, leadership, and connectivity between the right ideas, capital, and people to accelerate innovation. She is also a lead partner in Portfolia, the leading venture investing platform designed for women where she focuses on investments in femtech. Delphine teaches at Columbia Law School on topics relating to the business of healthcare and the law. She is Global Ambassador for The Invisible Girl Project, which is fighting to end gendercide in India, and serves on the Board of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association.

Delphine earned her Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School where she was also a Harlan Stone Fiske Scholar, and her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, cum laude, from Georgetown University, and clerked for the United States District in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
