Sia Anagnostou is the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Digitalis Commons, where she focuses on fostering collaborations that support innovation across philanthropies, family offices, and underserved institutions.
Sia is a biotech professional with a strong background in business development, venture creation, and healthcare innovation. Previously, she co-founded a venture studio dedicated to developing biotech companies focused on cell and gene therapies and immunotherapies, raising over $30 million to advance innovative therapies. At Immunomic Therapeutics, an RNA/DNA vaccine and cell therapy company, Sia led corporate development, in-licensing new technologies and driving strategic collaborations to advance the company’s pipeline, while contributing to corporate strategy. At Ginkgo Bioworks, she was part of the pharma business development team, cultivating relationships with global pharmaceutical partners, including in Japan, and contributing to the launch of Ginkgo Datapoints, a business unit focused on large-scale data generation for AI models.
Sia holds a BSFS in Foreign Service and an M.S. in Biotechnology from Georgetown University, as well as an Executive MBA from Duke University.
